Who we are
Hello and welcome to Cut-Price Car Rentals. We are a family owned and operated business with the same original owner who has been servicing the Gold Coast and Brisbane with budget priced affordable car rentals for over 36 years.
The entry into car rental happened when the owner first registered a business name in April 1986, starting with a bunch of mopeds and a few cars to rent in Surfers Paradise. The business grew steadily over the years and in 2009 Cutprice Car Rentals moved its main operation closer to the Gold Coast Airport, setting up directly opposite the airport. We then opened a depot near Brisbane Airport to service clients flying into Brisbane. Now servicing both Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports, the business has over 450 vehicles and a staff level of 35 people. We also have our own service department with three fully qualified technicians to service and maintain our fleet. We pride ourselves on personalized friendly customer service and a wide variety of budget priced vehicles to choose from.
Where we are
We are strategically located near both the Gold Coast Airport and the Brisbane Airport so we can service customers directly. We offer a free shuttle bus service to our offices, just a short drive from the terminal.
Our office is open 7 days a week and we operate all hours.
