Rental Information

Rates

Standard loss or damage cover, unlimited kilometres and registration recovery fees are included in rates.

Payment Timing

Payment is due on pickup day. No deposit is required, but a valid credit card is still required for security.

Driver Age

Minimum age is 21 and maximum age is 79. Drivers aged 21-25 may have surcharges and category limits.

Operating Area

Most vehicles are for on-road use within a 250-400 km radius unless pre-approved otherwise.

Pickup Checklist

Bring these items for a smooth handover.

  • Full current driver licence (learner, provisional and restricted licences are not accepted).
  • If your licence is not in English, bring a translation or international driver's permit.
  • Cardholder must be present at time of rental.
  • Payment card in the hirer's name with sufficient available funds for any required pre-authorisation.

Rates

Our rates include standard loss or damage cover, unlimited klm, and registration recovery fees. Petrol is the responsibility of the hirer. Rates can change occasionally, however once your booking is confirmed, the rate on your booking is guaranteed.

Standard Cover

Standard loss or damage cover is included in our rates. It covers multi vehicle accidents, third party damage, theft and windscreen damage. A damage liability is payable in the event of loss or damage.

Single vehicle damage and hail damage are not covered under standard cover and are only covered with premium cover. Sufficient funds must be available on the cardholder's credit card to cover the damage liability fee. Tyre cover applies to tyre cost only and is not a free roadside tyre-change service.

Liability Reduction Waiver

This option provides reduced liability and covers multi vehicle accidents, third party damage, theft and windscreen damage. A damage liability still applies in the event of loss or damage.

Single vehicle and hail damage are not covered unless premium cover is selected. Tyre cover applies to tyre cost only.

Premium Liability Reduction

Premium Liability Reduction (PLR) offers zero liability for multi vehicle accidents, third party damage, theft of vehicle, tyre and windscreen damage, single vehicle damage and hail.

Toyota Hiace 12-seater vans do not have zero liability and remain subject to a small damage liability.

Payment, Bond and Driving Rules

What to expect at pickup.

Bond / Deposit / Payment of Charges

Payment is not required until pickup day, however you can pay earlier by contacting the office. No deposit is payable. A credit card in the hirer's name is required for security reasons.

If your selected damage cover has an excess, a pre-authorisation is required for the excess amount and can be reversed on return if there is no damage. If paying by EFTPOS, cash or direct bank transfer, Premium Liability Reduction is required.

Accepted payment: Visa, MasterCard, EFTPOS, cash and direct bank transfer. We do not accept Amex or Diners card. Local renters may have additional qualifying procedures and may be required to pay a deposit.

Kilometres, Tolls and Licences

  • Unlimited KM are provided with all vehicles, subject to area-of-use rules.
  • All vehicles are fitted with toll tags and registrations are linked to our account.
  • Toll charges are passed through plus a $1 processing fee per toll event.
  • All hirers must hold a full current driver's licence; learner/provisional/restricted are not accepted.
  • For non-English licences, provide a translation or international driver's permit.

Service coverage for Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Area of Use

Most vehicles must be used within a 250-400 KM radius. Rentals outside this area can be arranged but must be approved before rental and may incur a surcharge. All vehicles are for on-road use only.

Hotel / Motel / Address Deliveries

Pickup from hotel, motel, residential or business address is available and subject to a minimum rental period.

Gold Coast Airport Deliveries

Meet and greet is available at Domestic and International terminals. A free shuttle transfers between terminals and the office (about 5-10 minutes).

Shuttle hours: Monday-Saturday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM-5:30 PM. After collecting bags, go to the meeting point at the north end of the terminal and call 07 5625 2588, 1800 241 622, or 0420 642 339.

Brisbane Airport and Brisbane City Deliveries

Vehicle collection is available close to terminals and city pickup points. Call 07 5625 2588, 1800 241 622, or 0420 642 339 for pickup instructions. We operate all hours.

Extras and Cancellations

Child restraints, GPS and cancellation terms.

Baby seats, booster seats and GPS navigation units

Approved reversible baby seats and booster seats are available for children of all ages. Baby seat rate is $9.90/day (max $99 per rental). Booster seat rate is $7.70/day (max $77 per rental). GPS units are $7.70/day (max $66 per rental). Queensland law requires children under age 7 to use approved restraints.

Cancellation policy

No fee applies when cancellation is more than 7 days before pickup. Cancellations between 7 days and 24 hours before pickup incur a $100 fee. Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-show, may be charged up to full rental amount.

12-seater cancellation policy

For 12-seater vehicles, cancellations within 30 days of pickup, or no-show, may be charged up to the full rental amount.

Peak holiday periods

During peak periods, stricter cancellation terms may apply and can include up to full rental amount even outside standard windows. Contact us to confirm policy for your dates.
